"America's problem with race has deep roots, with the country's foundation tied to the near extermination of one race of people and the enslavement of another. Racism is truly our nation's original sin . . ." We will use the language and point of view of Jim Wallis, editor-in-chief of Sojourners, in his book "America's Original Sin, Racism, White Privilege, and the Bridge to a New America" to confront inherent racism. This is the first in a two-part series, the second to be held on Feb 26. We have copies of the book for free, while they last. Contact the church at Pastor@northhadleycongregationalchurch.org or 413-270-2319. Or stop in Sunday morning and pick up a copy.

His story will launch us on our own exploration of silence in nature. This special morning gathering will include a silent hike around Mt. Warner, followed by discussion, and soup.
